Conference Themes
Participants at LeadersToGo retreats have consistently affirmed the value of being able to explore current ministry themes with fellow leaders from across Australia and NZ.
Three-hour creative explorations each day will be made up of small group discussions, open space learning, personal reflection times, resource sharing and reflections from Rachel Turner (our ‘author in residence’). Way too good to miss!
So, bring your experience (and passion) and join the conversations at L2go 2023 as we explore:
…with threads of Intergenerationality, Leadership and Belonging woven throughout
Thursday 7th – Sunday 10th September 2023
(Why is L2g on a weekend this year?)

Artist in Residence
We will be joined by Rachel Turner for the conference. Rachel will be sharing into our times of structured input, but also joining in as a participant in all that we do. She is the author of It takes a church to raise a parent and will be familiar to those who were part of the L2g Term 1 Speaker’s Corner or who saw Rachel’s Keynote Video at AMPLIFY 2022.

Venue and Accommodation
Collaroy is located 30km from SYD airport. Visit www.collaroycentre.org.au for more information.
Every L2g registration includes ‘cabin’ accommodation where there are 6 – 8 beds and 2 ensuite bathrooms per room. Rooms are air conditioned and linen is included.
You have the option to pay an extra $90 to upgrade to ‘hotel’ accommodation, which is still onsite. You’ll then only be sharing with one other person, you’ll get a king single bed, tea & coffee making facilities and an ensuite bathroom.
Day Attendance
If you prefer to stay off site the day attendance cost is $350 (find this ticket after the hotel options on the registration page). You are encouraged to attend the conference from lunchtime Thursday until lunchtime Sunday and the price includes lunch and dinner each day (apart from dinner Sunday).
Part Time Option
The planning team feels that to get the most out of the conference, and to not disrupt the sense of community building, attending for the entire program is best. However, we have created a day event especially for NSW residents on the Friday only.
Registration price: $75
Pricing for WA and NZ
Recognising the greatly increased cost of flights at present, we have arranged to subsidise registration costs by $100 for those coming the furthest. Anyone in the western half of Australia, or coming across the ditch from New Zealand, can select the $100 discount when registering. (The NZ subsidy also roughly takes into account the difference between AUD and NZD). It doesn’t cover all your increased cost but we hope it will help you fully lean into this unique, in-person event.
Inviting Others
We’d love your help in promoting L2g in your networks and with your colleagues. Please make use of these digital images in sharing the word: postcard front and back, poster png, video or silent video.
